Big exteriors.

New developments never really appeal to me – I’m often sent to an address which isn’t covered by Satnav systems, tends to border on the incomplete side of appearances, and the property is often a bit devoid of personality. I had no idea what to expect from “The Birkdale” at Ramside Park on the periphery of Ramside Hall golf course in Durham. First challenge was finding the bugger. the Satnav directed me into the car park of Ramside Hall, and after a fruitless search, I went into the hotel to ask. they sent me in the right direction, and after a few false starts, I found the estate. Oh no – a building site. Literally. With my black leather boots on, I parked up and tramped across the mounds of rubble to someone who looked like a site manager. He directed me down past the construction chaos to the finished bit further down the road. Here I found 4 huge detached houses which looked totally pristine.
